About The Marina

Montague Waterfront is home to the Montague Marina and is a linear park located on Station Street on the north side of the Montague River, on the former C.N. Railroad property. It consists of the Municipal Marina and "The Station", acquired by the Town in 1984. Currently "The Station" is home to a Welcome Centre and The Station Cafe.

Docking Quota

Our marina can accommodate approximately 75 boats, with a draft of 12' or less, on floating docks. Six to eight berthages are reserved for visiting vessels (with minimum drafts of less than twelve feet.).

Amenities

Washrooms with showers, premium gasoline and unmarked diesel fuel, a mast crane (for boats +/- 30 ft.), concrete launch ramp, and concrete crane pad are on the site. Wireless internet is available. Ice is available. Payment types accepted are debit card and cash.

Security

Night watchman and security gates are employed.

Other

Entertainment performs at the gazebo every Wednesday and Sunday beginning June 24, 2012 and the Waterfront is often the site for recreational activities and events. It serves as one of the entry points for the Confederation Trail, which is used daily by walkers and cyclists. Year round further particulars of site activities and user fees are available from "The Station" (902-838-4778).
